They Have Balls There

Real friends will hold you accountable for doing what you know you should do.

I was headed to the gym and talking to my friend about my plans and they didn’t include doing THE DRILL. My excuse was that I hadn’t brought my basketball with me. Without missing a beat my friend immediately invalidated my excuse by saying “they have balls there.”. I could have defended my excuse with the fact that the basketballs they have at the gym are often worn and in very poor condition, but I knew that was irrelevant. There is always another excuse. A good friend will remind you to do it anyway.
